Skyline 350GT Conversion

Has anyone done a complete Skyline conversion? Front grille, badges, steering wheel airbag cover, engine cover, etc.
The only problem I see is the damn embroidered seats. I love my G but just want something very unique, starting to see alot of G's out there. Where can you get these parts?

The leather seats are rough, but I've heard that they are fairly easy to 'remake' if you can find a good upholstry shop. I am more worried about the NAV screen and the caps in the 18" rims that have the Infiniti logo on them.

Re: Skyline 350GT Conversion

the only thing that is a major sacrifice when converting to a complete skyline is the steering wheel with the logo on it. the only solution I see to this is removing the emblem and filling in the indentation, then sanding, painting, and throwing a skyline emblem on it. Or you could buy a new steering wheel.

It just never stops... which body kit? hmmm?

Re: Skyline 350GT Conversion

The steering wheel does suck. The seats aren't going to be any more fun either. I have yet to look at that sight so I have no ideas about prices. Seems like the 18" wheel caps would be a breeze.

Time to go look.

I've been looking for the center caps for months now, and I can't find them. The only way I have found to get them so far is to go directly to Japan and buy them. Maybe I should email the guys at japanparts.com.
