hmmm ..i have an AT aswell and always park on my driveway which is uphill. i never had any experience like that, im not sure what the problem is but for sure something is wrong. seems like your engine is struggling from something,... sorry about that dude. Does your car stil move forward (without pedaling since its AT) even when its making that noise?

Strange unless you've been there....!

Hmm strange, I can see where this sound might be coming from. Regardless
if you're parked up hill or down start your car keep your foot on the brake then put it in gear and don't take your foot off the brake until you're
moving. By doing this I don't think your car will shudder....try it.

^ do like Gary said, and use Ebrake before letting the foot brake go. Your auto tranny must somewhat engage when ur car rolls a little.

This sound happens in many auto trannys im not sure what it is exactly but almost every type of car has had this problem at some point that ive seen. My buddys 04 G does that right now but nothing seems to be wrong with it besides the fact he cant down or upshift.
