Wow, just kinda stumbled across this but I just traded my '06 Evo MR for my 6MT Coupe. =) - Gonna miss the AWD in the winter, but that's about it. The G35 is sooooo much easier as far as daily driving is concerned...and don't get me started about the interior...

Damn, honestly I would have kept the MR over the G35, you are really going to miss the power. But the G35 does have much nicer interior.

The power was something I was fine with sacrificing in order to get more refinement/luxury. The Evo's interior is very minimal as far as I'm concerned, this was a very very nice upgrade to me. Now I turn the heads of the older guys instead of the younger guys.

I have the stock springs..but, is there a way to adjust it and have it raised just a little bit? Thanks
I personally think that you have a 2.0 dropped on the front and about 1.75 on the rear. cause your car looks lowered than mine! I dropped mine 1.75 front and 1.25 rear using PROGRESS spring

on 20's
on 18's

the easiest thing to lift it is to change ur current springs.

Thats a hellacious drop! Congrats on the purchase though. Cant say I blame on ya on getting rid of the EVO. Racing is fun for awhile, but eventually you need to grow up a bit. In my opinion thats what an EVO is; a racing toy. Whether you're cone dodging, or roadcoursing, or drag racing... its a toy meant for racing. The G, while its got some decent get up and go, wasnt designed around racing. Its a bit more refined.

Lol and Ben.... so.... you like turning the heads of the old guys huh...? Thought there was something "funny" about you... (not funny ha ha, funny gay...) LOL!!! j/k bro!

I did something similar. I went from a Stage 2 STI to my G35 coupe. I slightly miss the power, but the interior and refinement are soooo much better. No more rattles, no more cheap plastic interior, no more ricers trying to race me all the time, much less road noise and a more comfortable daily ride hands down.

Even the girls like the G better. The girls I was dating always asked "Why is it so loud? Why are the seats blue? Why is the spoiler so big? Why does it ride so rough?"

Not to mention the insurance is cheaper, and I had zero need for AWD in central Texas.

Yup my buddy has a 6 speed RX-8 & my dad has an s2000 and its the same problem driving through the city..hills and stoplights and stop signs everwhere. I would be cool with having an MT for like a second car or something though..Lotus elise or something =)

Im fine with tiptronic for now hahaha
