Way back when I got my car the first mods were exhaust, intake, plenum spacer, clear corners, shift ****, oil/rad caps, lowering springs and 20" wheels. That was the first week. Things have just gone crazy from there...

 

For a little pick me up it is relatively cheap to get a cat-back exhaust, intake, clear corners and window tint. I bought the exhaust used from craigslist but for all of those mods it was < $1000.
