Exhaust.. Cost?

So looking for a few first mods..
05 60k coupe.. Excellent condition..

Think Cold Air Intake... $200
HK exhaust.. $ ?
Custom hood with vents... ? Saw one that looked really cool

How much for nice mid priced exhaust with labor?
Don't want some loud teenage car sound but just deep sport car sound....

Thank you

Just buy a magnaflow muffler with the same in/out configuration, and delete the resonator. $300 parts and labor.

Don't start chopping up your stock exhaust Like SaggyRocks tells everyone to do Check out invidia. That's a real nice setups that has the tone you're lookin for

Here's the invidia with ART pipes

I have the HKS with ART pipes.

This is a good idea ^ only if that's the only change you ever make to your exhaust system! If you decide to add high flow cats or Motordynes ART pipes you will have wasted $300 by creating a terrible raspy exhaust system. Check our Marketplace for a member selling his authentic HKS exhaust system...private classified. You can also Search using Best Exhaust, a recent discussion about systems you may find interesting/informative...Gary

Apparently jersey isn't too keen on how exhaust systems work.

I wouldn't put out $1200 to $1800 for an exhaust system until I heard it in person. Vids like these are only as good as the WallMart recorders used. Attend meets and hear systems in person...my best advice!

I would suggest you be a guinea pig for the Beluga Racing cat back exhaust on ebay. .☺☺it is a low 400ish and I think a step above godspeed. I have their y-pipe. I'm beginning to want an exhaust too out of boredom, but will not be dishing out big cash for one.
