I am going to get exhaust and a ztube / popcharger after i install this, will i need a tune up? what happens if i dont get one?

^+1 On what he said, they really have nothing to do with each other, it's just a common combo that people like to use with G35's.

The z-tube is the stock intake off of a 350z, and a popcharger is an air filter to replace that huge airbox in your engine bay.

 

Are you talking about an ECU tune?... or a maintenance tune-up?

I guess it doesn't matter.. because you shouldn't need either solely on account of putting on a cat-back exhaust and intake.

If your car needs maintenance, it needs it either way, regardless of if you did mods to it or not.
