okay so im upgrading my lights on my GT, i was trying to change my step lights on the driver side and it wasnt working for me. I tried changing the passenger side and it worked. So i thought there was something wrong with the wiring on the driver side...but yesterday i was cleaning the interior of the car and i saw the driver side step light turned on and i realised that it only turns on when the passenger door is opened.. is this normal?

i would assume that it should be working all the time specially that it is on the driver side.

no that is not normal. seems like there is a problem with a contact when you open you drivers side door.
