Re: Anybody drive their G35 as an everyday "beater"?
I'm glad I don't have to drive around meeting with clients like my wife. She put 30,000+ miles on her TL in the first year. He car's not even 2 years old yet and she has 44,000 miles already <IMG src="http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif"/>
I put 25,000 miles per year on my other car when I drove it to work every day. I only drive the G on MWF to work, so I'm hoping to only put 15,000 per year on the car.

I have had my G since June 8th and i have put 700 miles on it! thats a lil over a week. but its the only car i have cuz i sold my other one. but i love driving it and why not drive the [censored] out of it. u paid good money 4 it...btw i think i get shitty gas mileage. everytime i refill my gas i reset my trip meter. I have filled up my tank only twice, but i have recorded the distances twice and i haven't hit 300 miles on a tank yet. i kno ur supposed to hit at least 350 on a full tank. then again i have not went all the way to an empty tank where the light comes on, but i go pretty close. maybe like 1/10 left i refill. my friend got a tsx and she said her gas mileage was shitty till she drove it for a while, then it gradually improved. so hopefully mine will improve to.

Gas mileage is a little shitty at first but I believe it gets better. Also my first fill up, i didnt fill the tank all the way up. It acts a little weird and you gotta get used to filling up the gas. Make sure you fill it up to the top

At home, the G was my "nice weather" car. Now that I live in Vegas, it's the only one I've got. I'm flying to Indianapolis later today to pick up one of my other babies to bring out here, though I can't stand my G taking the abuse!

I just picked up a nice beater and daily driver in one. That box on wheels call the 2003 Honda Element. I practicaly stole it from my cousin because his wife said it was ugly and shes having a baby soon and need a real SUV. Now i'll have somethin for the Chicago winter but then I'll have to wait till next year to get FI for my coupe. That su* big time!
