I still have my old car still that I really should use as a beater, but I can't bring myself to drive it. If I'm drivng a long distance I want to do it in the comfort and enjoyment of the G!

It was my daily driver for 1year and 2 months 26000 i just bought a 4 banger civic the other day to save on gas. I love my G but i would only want to drive it on the weekends and on long distance drives.

Daily driver, 13K miles on it now, never had a second thought of getting another car as a beater. I wouldnt be able to tolerate hopping in my beater civic every morning, I'd pull out of the driveway, say Hell f'n no, get in the G and go to work. I'm payin out my *** for this car, the least I can do is drive it.

Nah... the wife's G doesn't even leave the shop/garage if rain threatens - her "beater" is an Audi 5000CS/Turbo Quattro (about 95% restored). I'm waiting to check out the '05 coupe... or maybe the "R"... supposedly in '07, right..?

 

I've been averaging 3000 a month. It's my daily driver. I have a 50 mile one way to work commute. I love driving it !

 

Friday (6/25) is my wife's last day at work. She'll be have our son soon, so I'll be driving her SUV to work. Now I'll save miles on the G.

Ya my coupe is my beater, and only car. So far it has gotten 6 dents from unknown sources, 1 from a known source, and been broken into once. So sad.
