Re: My new bumper
I like the flow of your car, but it looks like the paint doesn't match at all. I realize the car is parked in a shadow, but it really looks off from the rest of the car, anymore pictures?
Great looking car none the less, and you have to love the sticker haters.. hah.

Re: My new bumper
U can never match the factory DG color, my coupe was painted 2 times and never match w/ the factory... always a shade darker ![](http://www.2wheelife.com/forum/images/smiles/angry.gif)
But the coupe looks clean as hell![](http://www.2wheelife.com/forum/images/smiles/thumbsup.gif)

I would never take a painted piece back from a shop unless it matched perfectly, especially a stock color. Granted fiberglass/urethane and metal parts can all take to the color differently, it is the job of the shop to make sure it blends and matches well.
My personal opinion I guess. I had a terrible time getting a tri-color pearl stock color matched on my other car, but it was do-able. You really just have to find a good bodyman/painter.

It's fiberglass, supposedly good quality fiberglass but who knows, they could just be saying that...lol.

That's so true.. you just never know with fiberglass. Did they gelcoat the bumper (white/smooth texture)?
Gelcoating things always leads to issues with paint matching because it takes to paint so much differently. Another thing that helps match paint is to use high fill yellow/black primer and it tends to take to paint better.. no matter blending will have to happen because its not sprayed from factory.
Your car looks gorgeous regardless, don't get me wrong.
