no the lighter the better, just depends on the alloy they use. yeah if they use a lightweight weak metal its a horrible thing but if they use aircraft grade light weight aluminum then its a great thing.

yah das tru but yah to the OP, just make sure the space is still relatively tight on

the ichiba one i have i have to tighten down with a rachet.. its a 19mm head so i suppose it provides more tightening ability

just use threadlock so its on double good thread-lock will reduce the rish of the nuts backing out. I think i may do that.

If you use thread lock, then the spaced would NEVER come off...

i use thread lock products like Loctite all the time. on hobby R/C cars for example. or even the MD spacer i just installed on my G (as recommended and supplied by MD with their spacers). it's blue in color - and while it makes nuts difficult to remove (which is obviously the point) they WILL come off with enough force. i believe that's what he means.

ya if you were gonna use loctite then ya use the blue loctite so you can still break the bolts loose so you can remove the wheel spacers or even to check and tighten them

you would put it on the thread of the bolts that you bolt to the hub if you have the built in studs on your wheel spacer, this is just an extra precaution that some people take so that the nuts stay tight
