I have an 03 coupe. I found a guy at my school that has an 07. He has the projector headlights, I do not. I offered him a trade. My headlights for his. He is not interested in Modding his car. I also offered him some cash for them on top of the trade. My question is, how much should I offer him? Any ball park figures are welcome. Thanks.

 

I'd say 200.00-300.00 depending on the condition of your lamps.

 

If I were a gambler I'd bet this won't happen. Just because the '07
owner doesn't want to mod his car doesn't mean he'll be willing to down
grade what he drives....

I hope that guy knows how much uglier his car is going to look without the projectors. If he's stupid enough to do this, I'd say give him ~$375, cuz that's what the difference is about between what a set of projectors are worth and a set of 03-05 lights.

 

I have 1 word for you NEGOTIATE! Why would you offer him a higher amount like $375, Shoot him a low offer and see what hey says he will probably counter offer and you take it from their.

But don't just say I'll give you $400 and my lights.

Always start low. I found a guy to trade me his 06 tails for my 04 and I just helped him do a double din swap.

 

definitely look on ebay...i've seen some go pretty low on there....

 

offer him 50 bux on top of your stock lights lol. Then go from there...
