Sorry, I had to Laugh HA!

so im driving home from school today and i noticed a white g35 coupe. looked clean! so i noticed a school bus right on this cars bumper so drove up to see the reaction of the driver.

An old lady (white hair and everything, glasses and all) , head was placed directly ontop of the steering wheel. she was so far up on that steering wheel! I know how when everybody sees a school bus or any big truck they get from behind it because they move so slow..EVEN THE BUS GOT FROM BEHIND THIS LADY! Im sorry i had to laugh !

watch what you say chief, quite a few members here in their 40s 50s and I think even a few in their 60s.

Friend of mine is in an s2000 car club and told me a story about this 72 year old man that was one of the leaders of a car club.....well at this meet he told everyone "well guys we need to respect the town, not make a lot of noise, etc." then hopped in his car (turbo charged s2000 that had a crazy LOUD exhaust) hauled @$$ making sure everyone within a few blocks heard him.

don't count the "old" folks out.

no, but perception was that mercinator's comment seemed to imply that he wouldn't expect someone in their 40s or up to be driving a G

HAHA!!!
I'll turn 48 this year!!
LOVE driving my G35 Coupe!!!!
This should just show you that you NEVER out grow fast/sporty cars!
If you look at the string of cars I've owned over the years (first was 69 Mach1 w/351W and shaker) you will realize that it's not a mid-life crisis, but instead a way of life!!

No offense taken, just chalk it up to educating....

It is true though, most older people don't really like the Japanese made cars. Has anyone seen the movie analyze this? Robert Doneiro portrays this quite well as a 50+ guy on the topic of buying a lexus.

Besides isn't 50 the new 40 and 60 the 50? My Dad turned 51 today and he is so stoked for this spring when he can actually go and buy a 350Z (possibly 370) just because I'm finally going to be off his insurance haha.

My great aunt before she became a little too old drive (94 now) drove a Buick Grand National SS all black. I think that's even more intense than the coupe, that car rips.
