Unhappy Really tough choice

I am looking at two coupes. Both DG, both black interior and the options I'm looking for.

BUT, one is auto and the other is standard. I really want to be driving stick.

The auto has 67kms on it (41miles)
the other has 97kms (60miles)

They are roughly the same price (about $16,000 canadian). Should I settle for the auto just because of the low kms?

its nice to have stick...but its a pain at times...just depends on how u feel about it later...
some people love standard for life, while people like me, i grew out of it...although i got the 5at in the G, i compromised.
i was on the same boat. 03.5at.40k or a 04.6mt.brembo.67k

i chose the lower mileage, cus i knew i wil be driving alot...plus the inconvenience of standard, my gf and other friends arent good at standard..lol. i imagined a night when some1 else has to drive my car. LOL

if you plan to poweslide.go ***** out. push u car, and want a "track" race/auto-x car, get the 6mt. if you want a chill ride. then get the auto. make sure its 5at n not the regular auto..

good luck.
but from ur post, u want stick. so it should be a no brainer...

It will be my first standard car which is what I am worried about. I like to drive stick for the feel. But am I going to want to do that all day everyday? probably not. This is blowing my mind though, it's all I think about all day haha.

In my opinion, this car has to has to have three pedals. But it really comes down to personal preference.

Seriously, test drive it first, especially if this is your first MT. These MTs are not "nice". I mean I love it but it's rough.

all else equal I'd go with the manual if that's what you really want.

I was in the same predicament last October. I got the auto because I drive I-95 everyday to get to work. If theirs an accident or traffic I honestly don't feel like shifting every 2 seconds from 1st to neutral. I plan to someday buy another car as a daily driver. When that time comes I plan to get rid of my current G and buy a 6mt to have for the weekends.

I say go for auto, 6spd on these cars will get you running into problems.. especially with high miles
