I have the same mods on my car plus more, and I only dyno at 247HP/245TQ. I don't have the rev-up motor, just the base.

I have around $1200 saved up, I read through the entire thread and it seems the consensus would be to start with z tube (I already have a drop-in K&N filter), MD 5/16 plenum spacer, and MREV2? I'm not sure if the MREV2 benefits my car though; I have an 2006 AT coupe.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I dont think it benefits an automatic.

It is made specifically for the rev-up engines. But, I don't see why it wouldn't also work on the base model. I'm guessing the gains won't be as high.:dunno:

The MREV2 will def produce gains for your engine, do it!

You have listed the best bang for buck mods, do it! And, all of the mods you listed have very detailed DIY's listed, there are even some nice howto videos on youtube. :driving:

For all you airflow pros out there I am wondering what set up (intake headers exhaust) would be the best for increase in power for an 03 Coupe 6MT, please give me your opinion and estimate on price and any other useful information you can give me would be much appreciated!

headers are pointless unless your planning on going FI but your not going to see major gains so it probably wont be worth your $$

Also, can anyone tell me the difference between the MD 5/16 copper iso thermal spacer and just the iso thermal spacer. I believe someone in this thread previously said the difference was with the copper spacer, you don't have to switch some type of switch when it gets cold outside.. Didn't really understand what he was saying. Thanks for the help

That is correct, the copper is ideal for people who live in a cold climate.

long tube headers are best performing, ridic loud and not carb legal, awesome gains though

So i don't plan on doing any FI when i get a G35 just the basic airflow intake headers full exhaust... can anyone tell me what the power difference is between these two HKS exhausts....

my understanding from reading tony's posts are that it will help but you will need a tune and the gains aren't as high as the 6MT. So the cost of it all might not be worth it.

MREV2 will barely give you any gains on an AT so its not worth it
z-tube is a good start
MD spacers will show small gains
IMO save the rest until u have enough for a full cat back exhaust
or get HFCs

Thanks for the advice. I already have a full cat back HKS Hi-Power exhaust. That was what I saved up for first and it is totally worth it. So I should just go for the z tube and some MD 5/16 spacers, and not worry about the MREV2 cause it won't give me any gains?
