High Milage

Just bought my car ... 04' G35 Coupe AT. 107k miles Original Owner all records with it. Then Drove it back 1700 Miles now has 109k on clock.

Here's what i've done:

Changed oil & Filter
Changed Air Filter

Here's What I am gonna do this weekend:

Z tube w/ Pop Charger
Motordyne 5/16 Thermal Spacer
Stillen Grounding Wires
New OEM Belts Drive belt and AC belt
Change Spark Plugs
New slotted and drilled rotors w/ new pads
Tranny Drain and Refill 4 times
Rear differential Drain and Refill
Radiator Flush

Then I plan I buying the JL w6 10 inch and custom box that pushed into back seat JL 500w amp.

Is there anything else I should consider doing ASAP. Or u think I'll be set for a lil bit?

Man, thats quite a bit of mileage for a 04. But hey, if the car is still running smooth then there is no problem. Yeah, that sounds like you got the majority of the things you need to do. Also check out the cabin air filter, those things get mighty dirty. GL!

Yeah, should take no longer than 5-10 minutes to replace too.

be careful replacing the spark plugs, you might find you need new valve covers

That sounds like an excellent way to tune up a car you just bought! A 24 pack of beer and you should be done in a days time!

Welcome to Driver....enjoy your new ride!

Great plan, looks like you've got it covered. I'm wondering with that many
miles are the OEM shocks still on? If they are, can't be too long before they
fail....

Yeah I was planning on throwing on a full coilover setup here pretty soon. I kinda like now having altered suspension. Riding stock is kinda nice for a change. I usually do a full setup then things get stiff.

Im glad to see someone else has 100k+ miles and is still happy with there ride. I've seen a couple 03 g35's with 230k and 275k ... So I am not too worried. I was just looking for a clean body with clean interior. And then I can maintain it to make 300k hopefully. I'll probably end up upgrading to a newer one before this one breaks beyond repair.

How about your AT fluid. When was the last time (if ever) it was changed?
