one more thing... whatever you do... try it out first. Make sure it fits.

I change my mind. Based on those pictures, I never want any loved one, sitting that close to the airbag. There doesn't look like enough room!

Re: Infiniti list of baby seats

Yeh, if my boy was younger that might be an issue for me too. But he turned 2 a couple of months ago, so he's been in a forward-facing seat for a long while now. There's A LOT MORE room with the seat facing forward... ...plus it's not a bulky infant combo seat with detachable base (had one of those too when he was little), so there is that added room

Bottom line for me is that the entire family just won't have to be in the coupe very often, and when we do the room should be fine for anything other than several-hour-long trips.

WRAH - which airbag are you concerned with? I can't see one in the pic. Is there a rear side airbag?

I love the coupe, but I want to make sure I make things as safe as possible for my baby. Is the coupe less safe than the sedan? It's not quite as big, but it is heavier.

I think it forces the passenger to sit too close to the front, I don't know what the side and curtain airbag.

Coupe and a baby -- works fine

I have the coupe and my wife has the QX56. She can fit about 40 baby seats in her SUV. I can comfortably fit 1.
Mine is in the passenger side rear seat. I can't put it behind me as I wouldn't have leg room.
It works fine getting in and out if you take the time to move the seat all the way forward. I like to let my son get in his seat and then I kneel into the back and buckle him up. Works fine.

The coupe is fine. My 31/2 year old daughter sits in the back in her car seat, with my wife 5'9'" in the front, and there is no crowding. I don't have the seat with the latching base, so it is a small issue getting the seat in and out.

But I own a G Coupe, and when the wife and child are not in it, I get to drive it like I stole it!

If you don't get it now when will you? Certainly not when your baby is 5, 6,7 etc...how much less room will there be then??? GET IT NOW.
