Z-Tube affects gas mileage?

Re: Z-Tube affects gas mileage?
... if you really want good gas milage, throw a few hampsters in a spinny cage under the hood to lessen the load off the engine.
well actually i went from a NISMO CAI yesterday to a Z-tube+JWT Pope charger combo. and yes, like you i was concerned about gas, sooo before i went on base to the auto hobby shop i filled her up to the max...
so while i did an oil change, tire rotation (side to side), and pop charger/z-tube install, i also reset my MPG counter on my Navi... and so far, it's been 1-2MPG ABOVE what i normally get when i was driving with my NISMO CAI
...now mind you this is also 4th of July weekend so i've been stuck in traffic trying to get back onto the "island" (San Pedro Island) so i might actually be getting BETTER gas milage quit possibly...
PS. I have a NISMO CAI for sale >=) if anyone is interested.
