Better feel for different preferences, different sizes, lower height, taller height, more weight, different materials, etc...

A heavier **** will make the shifts smoother, and a better feel to your preference will make it easier for you to shift faster without mistakes. Not much performance, but I guess it helps... IMO, it just makes the drive that much more pleasurable.

^^^+1 on this! I had a Ti nismo before and i changed it after i got my hands on a tk ****. Feels much better and the shift is smoother coz its havier. Also i liked it coz i can grip it better than the nismo
