Fuel Economy
Fuel Economy
I think the reason that no one is getting great milage with the coupe is that it is near impossible to exercise restraint with the accelerator pedal. I try but I can't help pushing the gas. Anyway, I went out on the highway with a full tank and did a road trip. Stayed at 100 kph (62mph) and got 33 mpg (imperial) which is 29 mpg in US gal. Thats not great but its not bad either. Drive the car as you would a typical car and the milage improves dramatically. But I didn't get this car for great milage and I am not really overly concerned about it, just wanted to see if it could do better if driven softer.

Re: Fuel Economy
That's more than I expected from the Coupe. I'll be happy with that.

dang, if I drove this car like I would any "typical car" I would probably get 5mpg.
I'm averaging 18mpg. I don't think it's that bad. While gas prices are up though I'm just going to ride my gixxer to work.
