Window tinting in Stockton, CA?

Hello everyone, I just got my coupe last saturday, auto DG fully loaded. I'm not going to do a whole lot to this car, thinkin about clear corners and aluminum pedals for now. Most importantly tho, I want a nice tint all around. Does anyone know of a quality tint shop in or around Stockton, CA? Also, what do you guys recommend for a tint %? Thank you very much in advance. By the way, how did you guys make it through the break in period!!?? I really want to open it up all the way, but I'm stayin under 4,500 rpm for the first 800 miles... it's very hard

Re: Window tinting in Stockton, CA?

I highly recommend Huper Optik tint. It is a ceramic tint, not metal, and cuts heat like you wouldn't believe. I have Huper Optik 40 on my twilight blue coupe and it looks great. Still visible enough at night but in the sun, looks pretty dark. (I have the dark interior, which adds to the darkness).

Not sure who sells it in your area, but you might try the Huper Optik website.

Bill

I have a friend over in Livermore who does excellent work - Omega Tintwerks..........ask for Vince and tell him Sam from Mach III sent you. He's been using Llumar for many years now, so if that's the film you want then he will make it come out near perfect. He's usually pretty busy w/ the dealers in the area, so if he's not available pm me as I am mobile as well.

I live close by Stockton, CA. A little by modesto, CA. Where did you get your tinting done? The Infiniti dealership in modesto said they would do all the windows for my coupe for $350!!! They said it was life time warranty. I'm going to call to see the brand they use. Hopefully someone can guide me to a better place.

most likely to be Johnson's or worse...you can get your window tinted at any town USA for 100 bucks, "quality" of workmanship is other story!... there are alot of place in Modesto do tints, been few years tho but there is one plcae close to 5 points, dont remember the name, right around that tatoo place, little green shack, will do it cheap.

If LLumar goes for 100 bucks, I wonder how much is the Johnson's film?

I don't know any shops in your area, but I have been thrilled with my HuperOptik tint. I got the 20% and it really keeps the heat out of the car. http://www.huperoptikusa.com/

I've had this on 2 cars now and found it to be very durable with virtually no bubblilng. And if it can withstand the Texas heat, it will surely work in Cali.

I called the infiniti dealership and they said they use 3M window tint and it will be $350 for all 5 windows with a life time warranty. Should I do it with them or go somewhere else?
