I was cleaning the inside of my windshield when the black plastic piece that covers the rear view mirror wire fell off. After reconnecting the plactic piece to the mirror, I notice it didn't reach the headliner. Does anyone know if that plastic wire cover is made to fit from the headliner to the mirror? Mine is about 2 inches short from reaching the headliner. Thanks for your response.

There should be two pieces.

 

Yea mine fell off too but there are clips that hold it that goes on top and the bottom of the cover. It clipped right in and no other problems for me. Oh and yea there are 2 pieces that's supposed to be there, look for it in your car. I hate the cheap interior of this car. Hope this helps
