Launching my G35
ok so im kind of new to this launching stuff and i dont no at wat RPM it is best to launch a stock 06 g35..if you guys have some tips and RPM that is close to perfect let me no..i want to learn but dont no where to start..

launch for the track? or daily driving?
daily driving I dont go past 1.5k from a stop
for a spirited launch or track I would say 3k rpm is about right.

Lots of variables are involved. Tread life of tires, what type of tires, track conditions (if you're actually at a track).
If your launching on the street on stock rubber with good life, about 3k is good. At a track like Atco here in NJ, the track isn't all that good and isn't as sticky as other tracks. But about 4k launch works for me on stock rubber.

I never mentioned racing on the street, only specified that if you launch on the street. You can launch on the street and have the speed your going still be within the legal speed limit.

Its called "exhibition of speed". I never got stopped for it but I don't make a habit of launching on the street however I do know those that have.
