Congratulations on finding one sweet deal...consider yourself lucky! Like most members have recommended change all fluids....oil, trans, rear end, brake and radiator. Also change the drive belt, better safe than....well you know. I wouldn't start your find (car) until all these changes are made....just to be safe.... Good Luck! Oh....use synthetic oil, it what's best for you new car! (mobil 1 5W/30)

Wow...great find man. I would wait at least one oil change though before I went with synthetic oil. It has been sitting for a long time and you wanna make sure all the rings and seals are seated properly. They should be of course, but just to be safe. Waiting one oil change wouldnt hurt. But def synthetic oil FTW

I still think using synthetic oil is a good idea and I'd change it at 1K miles to make sure all the residue from sitting was cleaned out. After 6K miles the rings are seated, using synthetic isn't an issue!

Well, I picked up the G35 today, and all I can say is I was all worked up over nothing. The car is in great shape and runs fine. Had the oil changed , it still had the factory filter on. Found out once I got the trunck open that they added 2 JL audio 10" subs with 1 1000 watt amp and 1 800 watt amp, mounted on the fold down rear seat. I had the mileage wrong, it only had 6013 miles on it. It had a set of Motegi Racing rims on it with 225front/245 rear. It also came with the factory 18" rims which may go back on. Where can I find an owners Manual? It didnt have one, and took me 1/2hour to find the dam **** for the side mirrors. also can I get the remote for the doors from a dealer? All they had was a key, no remote? Well that's all right now, I'll post some pictures when this damn rain stops.. Robert

Check your brakes
Sweet deal, especially with the unexpected add-ons. One thing I'd also check are your brake calipers. They're probably fine, but there could be some minor surface rust on the pistons themselves. Better to clean those up now than when you go to change your pads later.
What's the in-service date on that car? There's a slim chance it's still under the 48/60K warranty. If it is, get it in to a dealer ASAP for any problems you encounter. Carfax or Autocheck can tell you the in-service date.
Congrats.
