Aluminum pedals in barefeet = OUCH

Ever since i got my car, i have worn almost nothing but tenis shoes. I used to wear Birkenstocks (jesus sandals) about 99% of the time, but i cant drive my car smooth in them and when i drive barefoot i limp around all day cause my feet get soooo tender lol. the ball of my left foot gets rubbed soooo raw when i do this and i look dumb limping around from driving. Anyone else have this problem? its not a big deal and i dont care and there is really no point to this thread except that i htink its kinda funny. I guess i had the problem a LITTLE bit with the rubber pedals, but the metal ones have those little raised black rubber things on them that just rub my feet ridiculously bad and hurt after a while.

Raz, I hope you don't wear Birkenstocks with socks on, that is not cool.

Throw a spare pair of sneakers in the car so you can wear those while driving, or practice walking on hot coals to toughen up your girlie feet

Re: Aluminum pedals in barefeet = OUCH

no dood the socks in birks match my suspenders and huge thickass glasses and my slicked back hair. I am also 500 lb's overweight, have a mole the size of enrique englesias (pre-removal) and have a bag of cheetos permanently attached to my left hand.

i dont wear socks with em and birks are badass and match a nice collared shirt and kakki cargo shorts (the normal dress for a high school male in my school). I would never wear socks with ANY sandals lol.... its not to the point where i wanna keep another pair of shoes in the car... or to where i dont occasionally drive barefoot.... i was just making a post for the sake of talking about something that has to do with a g. Maybe i'll try walkin on hot coals

well raz...just wear some shoes...i mean..when they say "heel toe" driving..they don't really mean that you have to go barefeeted

you can always put an extra pair of shoes in the car...thats what i do (for playing basketball though)

lol im not complaining or anything... there really isnt a point to the post. I said in the first one that it doesnt relaly bother me and that i dont really care that much AND that there is no point to this. Im just saying it for the sake of saying it. Plus i dont like having anyhting kicking around in my car at all. there is nothing in my car that is visible without opening a compartment. Under the armrest i keep a pack of gum, in the cubbby i keep garage door openers and in the glove box i keep paper work.... thats it. nothing kickin around in the back seats. My friend left a maglite in my car one day and i had to drive downtown into houston with it on my floorboard and for some reason it just annoyed me the whole way there. i guess i could keep shoes in the trunk, but i know that im so lazy i wouldnt ever get em outa there.

You know those little rubber booty thingies that swimmers or other water-wandering folk like to wear? Would those help at all? I dunno, I'm always in dress shoes or hoop shoes...

do you have the Nissan pedals or aftermarket, cause I have the Nissan ones and drive bare feet all the time and it doesn't hurt. You know here in Hawaii everyone wears slippas'.
