You were lucky, sometimes when you're racing somebody, you tend to pay more attention to your competition in your rearview mirror then the traffic ahead of you! It's happened to me before too.

I see nothing wrong with her messing with her bf's man hood. It'll only make him better. It's for his own good.

I was young once. Thought my 97 civic DX was the ***** . Until my GF, now wife proved to me it was nothing next to her GST. I thought the eclipse was no match for me, until she proved it. Her and her brother brought me out to the boonies and let me floor the GST and a GSX.

After that I had nothing to say other then "I can't wait to get rid of this civic".

You've illustrated the main point in why street races are dangerous. It doesn't matter how good a driver you are. There are morons out there that'll cause a bad ending to your race, as well as perfectly decent drivers that do pay attention, but aren't compensating for the fact that you're approaching them at 100+mph.

I drive really fast and I love it.But, I try to keep the freeway races to a minimum. Light to light drags are what i usually get into and I try to keep the top speed down. I've had too many close calls because of freeway racing. Ryoken right, there is just too much margin for error at high speed. Also statistically High Speed = Higher chance of death in an accident. I won't lie though sometimes I just get stupid and race S2000's and M3's on the 405 freeway. It is a rush!

Re: What a rush this morning..

i must say highway races are stupid. I have some friend who went out in a trans am and were supposedly going 125+mph when someone pulled in front of him, he hit the brakes, lost control and crashed into a lightpole on the highway. The car was completely mangled, and both of my friends should of died, but they both ended up fine. Just goes to show you need to be careful.
