Debadging questions...

For those of you that have de-badged and/or re-badged with SKYLINE and 350 GT emblems...

When y'all debadged the INFINITI and the G35 emblems, how easily did it come off? Any residue or just smooth as silk after taking them things off?

About to go and de-badge cuz my [censored]'s coming in next week.

Thanks in advance

Dru

Re: Debadging questions...

Took the waxed dental floss to the 2 way tape that holds on the lettering. Some guys heat the lettering with a hairdryer first. Either way you will get residue from the tape. You can purchase some adhesive remover from an office supply store to take care of the adhesive.

Wash area when finished.

Re: Debadging questions...

I did mine this week and it was easy. I just used some fishing line and goo-be-gone. It only took me 10mins or so. The glue is really thick and you can almost roll it off with your finger or wet paper towel. It was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. Doing it myself saved me $50. That was what the dership wanted to charge for doing it. Good luck.

a good screwdriver and hammer to get it off and some sand paper to get rid of the residue and then you are set
