engine code

I recently installed a Stillen true dual with their High flow cats. Shortly after, my check engine light went on. The code was P1283. The dealership replaced the O2 sensor that was throwing the code. Again, the same code went off. I checked and tightened the entire intake which is to include, MREV2, 5/16" spacer, and the K&N intake. I called Stillen and they can't seem to come up with a solution. Anyone have an ideas on what the problem is and how I can possibly fix it? I was thinking about getting a tune, but I was informed that it may not solve the problem. Please let me know. Thank you.

i have same problem . i put crawford pleum z intake random high flow .y pipe and tanane catback. about 2 years ok but now get code every 2-3month at a time.i try to fix many times but no luck. don't worry about the code you can not fix it unless put stock cat and take out pleum spacer. just buy one obd2 code reader remove the code when you need.in my case if i drive more than 40mile trip triger p1283 code . some time at freeway some time local.

what i did today change transmission flush and clean throttle sensor with cleaner after short time cel light on and get p0507 .obd2 scaner can not remove code because idle control position so i have to do ignition on off game after 30time try i got back to normal rpm relean position and ecu code still there so i have to use scaner to remove. after drive afew miles car run much better and feel more power than ever .but its very hard to do it.i never did this .after change pleunm 2 times ,put random cat, intake and catback.if you put plenum intake highflow cat airfolw is more than stock value so you may try to relean idle sensor .i am very happy i fix this problem to day.one more if you have obd2 scaner try to use live data to see your oxygen sensor work.if you got p1283 code. i was thinking about replace driver side oxygen sensor but still works good .
