LOL @ people telling other people how to drive THEIR car. When I see some $$$ in the mail for my car note, then I'll start taking someone else's advice on how to drive. And that doesnt go out to the ppl that honestly give advice. That goes out to the cry babies, lol.

I downshift all the time like that in my 5AT when coming
to a light to help me slow down. Its not going to hurt anything,
just going to save your brakes a little...

LOL @ people using the transmission to slow down. Using an auto to slow down is just about as smart as the MT guys. At least the MT guys only have to replace the clutch.

I'd much rather replace brake pads than auto clutch paks. That's just me.

MT guys dont have to replace the clutch??? Clutch goes out
all the time on MT cars so idk what you are talking about...?

Yeah so why are you acting like its such a big difference, and using
the rpms to slow down once it a while will not harm anything. So calm
down buddy, I know its miserable in Seattle but don't spread the attitude
around to everyone else..

Umm, I used to do it alot. Untill I threw on a turbo and bent all the crank rods. I was told that the engine had gotten week cause of the shifting, i know the VQ's week link is the rods so i could belive it! Just be careful
