questions about a used g

I have a few questions.
1) What do you guys think about buying a coupe with 75k+ miles on it?

2) What factors should i think about before buying a car with such high mileage.

3)Also what are usually the major problems for g35's? Ive heard of the window motor going out, but anything else i should be aware of?

Thanks. I hope to be G owner soon, and ivory pearl G that is..

keep searching you can find lots of info.

1. Maintenance. 75,000+ expect to replace all fluids, check brakes, check belts, check suspension, bulbs start going, alignment, etc. look up maintenance schedules for milage related stuff. etc.
2. Maintenance. check for records of this being done. You can bargain price with miles, bargain price even lower if proper maintenance records arent there.
3. Problems vary, they are few and far between. '03-'05 have slightly more bulletins. Look up technical bulletins and recalls on Infiniti official website, look for those which apply to the year your inquiring.

research twice, buy once

+1,000,000 on that.
Even if you're gettng the used, high mikeage car at a cheap affordable price, it's not a cheap car to maintain. Overall rule of thumb on all cars, right at
80k, most used cars start to break down, exp: brakes, starters, radiators, tires, front end and suspension parts. Again, those parts are not at all cheap.
Right now, a used 2K6 fully loaded is about 12k cheaper than a year and a half ago when I bought my car. In fact, I could buy a 2K6 fully loaded coupe, and a 2K5 Sedan for what I paid for my car, oh well, this economy sucks and swallows the big one.

I dunno, they are pretty reasonable/cheapish to maintain for me atlease. Then again I came from the Benz world and I do most the labor work.

Buying used opportunity....:)

If you're really interested in buying a G35 shop around, it shouldn't be uncommon to find an '05/'06 with less than 50K miles on the clock. It would be to your advantage to find a low mileage well maintained G so you won't need to worry about major expense. It's definitely a buyers market today, why not take advantage of the opportunity....

Yeah do some research. I just picked up a 2004 G35C in sexy gray with 46K miles below below KBB value and it was well taken care of (externally)..... well except for the fact it was owned by a fat guy who ate in the car.

I cleaned that car like a crazy

G35 6MT
What everyone else said. Keep looking. I picked up my '05 6MT Coupe with 26K a month ago. Low mileage G's do exist -- keep hunting and be patient.
