you'll have a faster response time....a supercharger has no control over the manual transmission as far as shifting goes.

doesn't look bad at all.

the thing is, like someone else mentioned, the only things carfax shows are things reported to insurance. if you back into a pole in your driveway and pay for a new trunk and paintjob out of your pocket, it won't be reported.

i'm just curious why the rack and pinion is out in it.....that just seems fishy. That's not a common problem for our cars. i would definitely have that looked at for that reason. Also, listen to the transmissions. earlier models lose the synchro from 3rd gear and 5th gear. They grind when you try to shift into them. There have been 10 revisions of the transmission and it's covered under warrenty up til 70k miles. With the extra power from a super charger I would check into that also because of the added stress on the transmission.

I doubt this is 480hp. I don't see enough mods on the car as is to show that. It doesn't have a vortech on it so i'm going to guess that it is an ATI. It takes a LOT of stuff to get almost 500hp out of a supercharger on our cars. maybe 380 is what he means. that's more realistic for a lightly modified super charger install.

things you got to ask yourself are:

1. is it what you want?
2. do you feel comfortable paying 18k for a 6 yr old car
and 3. can you afford the lines that go with it i.e. premium gas, insurance, car payment, etc.

well you will really never know if there was some other problems not reported, but you dont see too many 6 yr vehicles with a clean title/accident report.

you want a black g35, check.

Do'nt take offense to this but you arne't just getting a car, you are getting a toy. As soon as you start modding a car like this it isn't going to be like just getting it in and driving. There are a lot more things to maintain and watch out for and service. You didn't even know what a plenum is or what to look for on a car when buying it so are you sure you can keep this car road worthy? Do you know anything about superchargers? If not do you have a boatload of cash on hand to take it for service at a dealership a lot more often then a normal g35?

Just some things to think about
