Car wont start! Alarm light stays on

Has anyone had this happen to them? I just had a motor swap done and the car wont start. When trying to start the car it turns but does not start. I noticed that the alarm light stays on. Could this mean that the immobilizer is activated? Will I need to reprogram the key to the immobilizer? Thanks in advance.

Valet mode

It sounds like you are in valet mode bud. My Viper on my G does that. Keeps the light on. I take it you have disarmed the car and it continues to stay on? Try removing the battery for a bit if you can not get it out of valet mode. It's just a guess on my part but could reset it. GL.

Are you reffering to a separate alarm light or the immobilized light on the driver's side dash?

looks like it could be a problem with the alarm.

Light on the dash . There is no fuel supply nor spark. I am going to have the key reprogrammed again and see what happens.

OEM. The ECU and the battery were disconnected for about 3 months while I got everything I needed for the swap.

It must have been a battery issue because the car started with no issues today. Thanks for all the advice!
