I'm with most of you guys, the 06 (in my opinion) looks much better.

The differences in the 05 vs 06 6MT (or 5AT with sports package) is significant enough. The revised tail lights, projectors, sport sides, and sport fronts give the 06 a much cleaner look.

 

I like the looks of my 06 6mt sport with aero wing. Never was a fan of the 03-05 whale tail, but that's me.

Only gripe...the lack of support on front spoilers for the front sports bumper...argh!! Know of only one...have it. Fitment is ehh...has issues.

 

IMO(based on oem 6mt/sport)
05 bumper > 06 bumper (yes honestly)
06 headlight > 05 headlight
06 sides > 05 sides
06 taillight > 05 taillight
05 spoiler > 06 spoiler (without any doubt when I purchased the car but I'm beginning to like 06 better)

 

i really dig the front end on the 06+ and the nicer spoiler also

 

You also have a different spoiler. 03-05 OEM spoiler is wider. 06-07 is narrow. i like the 03-05 better imo.

 

06 is better than 05. Allow me to explain. I own an 06. Therefore, it is better.

personally, exterior doesn't really matter for me as i'm going to be replacing the parts with aftermarket ones anyways... the only thing i really want right now are the 06-07 taillights... they look soo sexy with the overlays + rectangular rear, NOT TO MENTION A DAMN TRUNK BUTTON!!

really annoying to carry a keyaround when your cleaning your car and opening the trunk back and forth.

 

Anyone have a pic of 06 sport sides on an 05 6mt with an OEM front lip? I'm trying to decide if I should switch mine out but not sure how it will look with the 05 bumper. Thanks.
