Right now, I'm planning just to wait for the '05 6MT, but I went by the dealership for fun and to haggle. I got a price, $40,600 out the door for a 6MT, navi, prem, splash guards...good deal?

This had better be with tax. I got my '04 MT with the works for 33K

 

The works for 33k? I got my 04 MT with Prem/splash for $32.5k on a VPP deal. Adding Nav would have put it at somewhere around $34.3k. I can't see a dealer doing below VPP by $1300....most dealers don't even want to do VPP and its a great price which most on the forum would have loved to get. Can you clarify irony?

As far as $40k....whew that seems high. MSRP loaded would put in that range....I can't see you getting much of anything off MSRP. Now depending on what state you live in Tax and license could put you above $40k. Bottom line is you might be able to do a lot better than that...unless its too late.

I'm sorry I wasn't more clear. By "out the door," I meant the total amount I would be paying. I am in CA, so that would mean tax, destination and whatever else included. I'm probably just going to wait for the 05
