Window Problems

I am sure if I did a search I may find the answers but I am lazy. Almost every time I close my window using the auto up mode it goes up then comes half way back down. Its like something is in the way. But there is nothing in the way. If I hold the button down the window will close as usual. But if I press it just enough to set the auto close button it comes back down. has anyone else experienced this? I know I will bring it in for warrentee work but I am still curious. TIA

Re: Window Problems

Your window motor is about to burn out. The dealer will replace it with a different brand of motor.

It happens to the coupes quite often.

And we welcome another member into the G35 power window problems club.

Re: Window Problems

my car is currently awaiting a new motor for the window for the same problem except mine already fried up. make sure your dealership service dept has the motor in stock and it's for the right side you need changed....two weeks and counting on when this will be fixed...for now d. side window is locked up...kinda embarassing when you have to pay toll by opening the door...or having to open the door when u pay and pick up your late night Wendy's munchies.....sad sad sad sad.....

Re: Window Problems

This was happening to me. The first just reset the window motor. That did not work so I had to take it back. When I took it back they reset the window actuator (i think that is what it was call). that seemed to fix it. It has yet to happen to me again.
My dealer does not have the best service people. First time I took it in, they greased the sunroof and left grease on the center console and passenger seat. It wasnt a lot, but enough to anger me. The second time I took it in, the most have dropped a tool on the Infiniti metal piece you see when you open the door, which put two dents in it.
I have yet to tell them about that, but I will next time I go in.

CCoupe.. Premium Package, Aero Package, Navigation, Performance Wheel & Tire Package, 35% tint all around
Coming soon: MB Quart 6.5 components for front and Infinity Basslink sub in trunk!

Re: Window Problems

Yea, my driver side window won't budge as we speak. I have an 03 coupe with 24k. Time to head back to my favorite Infiniti Dealership.
