Can anyone confirm a change in the power seats and/or backseat entry? I saw the following information on www.infiniti.com while looking at the G35 Coupe Site:

"The G35 Sport Coupe is as accommodating to rear-seat passengers as it is for those in the front. Even to the point of easing their entry and exit. Release the front passenger-side seatback and the entire seat glides forward, creating a wide opening. It then quietly returns to its original position."

It's my understanding that if you pull the seat release for backset access, that it DOES NOT go back to it's original position....according to that information, it does. Did Infiniti make a change mid-year?

I don't know about any future changes but my G is a early '03 production. When you pull the seat back lever the seat motor moves the seat all the forward. When you push the seat back back into place the seat will them return to it's original position on the track. But that's it it does not return to the exact same recline position or any of that. So I guess you could call it partial memory?

I hatre the fact that it doesn't return the recline position. Because when I have to get something from the back seat on my side I have to readjust the seat when I get back in. Urrrrrggg!.

hey you can put stuff behind the passenger's seat, then you dont have to worry about re-reclining your seat [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]
