So where do you mount the start button in 05+ coupe?

I just recently mounted one in next to the heater controls in the center console (like the GT-R). It looked really nice when we were done with it.

Just for clearification, the IG50 does NOT have keyless entry capability, you still need to use your OEM keyfob. The IG50 does use RFID, but it is passive (short range) with a typical range of 3-5".

Great looking install! Do the keys have to be in the cupholder for it to work or can they be in your pocket?

is this how your interior is laid out?

i dont' think it'll fit...(but i'll defer to the expert)

you might be better off mounting it (if your shifter was a compass) to the NorthWest or NorthEast of your shifter.

basically you need a flat spot with enough room for the button and some depth underneath

again i defer to the expert, but what he told me is it needs to be a pretty flat part

so from that pix if you move it a little down and out closer to the driver...it looks like it would fit there...

In the '04 I would just replace the drivers side power socket (like I did in my G35). To get the button to fit somewhere it has to be flat and there has to be about 3" of depth behind it. In Ted's case we had to dremal out quite a bit behind the location, but everything ended up being really solid when we were done.

Ted only got the PB50, he didn't get the IG50.

i know...his driveway was littered with bits from my center console.

Kevin explained to me that the PB50 and IG50 are two separate systems with the PB50 being the first stage for a keyless push button start system. I'm patiently waiting for a finished product and i'm eventaully gonna add the IG50 once it's done.

(btw KP, if you need more test cars let me know...)
