If there's one thing I've learned about this community, it's that asking questions before you search is going to get you the same answer every time, and then being a smart *** is going to get you nowhere. Good luck with your decision. Tell your 350z.com buddy to let you in on some edicate.

there are threads on model comparison, features, differences, potential mods, speed, ratings, cons, pros, pretty much everything you need to know about every single G from 03-07.... what you need to do is stop posting here and start searching...

don't forget, once you buy that G (if you end up doing that), you will most likely be here for other questions and being a smartass will get you no where...

all Gs are great cars, the different years correspond to different features/specs..

welcome to the forum by the way... personal suggestion: 05+ for 6MT, any year for 5AT.

There are so many issues and items to go over with the G35s, it is not realistic to give an answer to the original question without a thorough search. There are quite of few pros and cons with these cars. I've been on these sites for 6 years and still learning.

First of all, welcome aboard. Figure out what your budget for a car is and then go from there. I hate to tell you BUTT, if you're anything like most newbies that want a cheap car, you're in the wrong forum. Even though the prices have dropped, they're still expensive cars to mainain. Some folks here have gotten excellent deals lately but, for example: if your budget is 13-15K, you're going to wind up with a torn-up, high mileage car. If you can swing at least 22K, you can get a low mileage 2K6 6mt, sport and premium package with low-mileage. For the most part, folks around here are helpful and friendly, just as long as you don't **** them off a lot. Also, AT, vs. 6mt. will be a big factor in regards to how much you can mod the car.
