Weird Problem
Sorry my last answer was breif.
It ended up being an issue with the wheel bearings. What happens is the sensor on the wheel bearing doesnt pick up the reflection properly and the corner would shift the sensor disc in the bearing. The disc inside the bearing begins to corrode causing the sensor pickup to malfunction. The computer thinks the vehicle is out of control and try to compensate which would cause braking on one side....
Hope this helps!
How many km on the wheel bearings? Are they original?

yea that sounds more plausable. At first I thought you meant your wheel bearings actually went bad and needed to be replaced. A malfunctioning sensor could certainly cause my problem. I'm not sure that's what's wrong though since it sounds like other people have this same problem when they replace 2 tires, which I just did. They said it generally goes away after driving for a few hundred miles though, which hasn't quite been the case for me. It certainly was much more violent braking when i first had my tires changed, but it happened again the other day. I thin i'll give it a bit more time and if it continues to be a problem, i'll check out those bearings.
The car has 30k miles so about 47k kms or so? and yes, they're the originals
Thanks for giving me some more detail

Thanks for the heads up. Like I said, i would imagine it's due to the rear tires being changed, but i'll keep an eye on the bearings. I can live with the occasional braking on turns if it would cost me $400 to replace just one bearing.
Im not sure why this occurs. Possibly the car adapts to the changing diameter of the worn tires but not when new tires are replaced? I also heard that the cars act up when only two tires are changed, best the change all 4... but then again not sure how that is possible...
