I have a 2004 G35x and on more than one occasion I have gotten out of my car with the engine running (to get out and talk to friends or go back to the trunk) and have had the drivers door lock on me. Luckily the other doors were unlocked. Is this common? I would hate to have it happen one day and the other doors are locked.

 

i wonder...do you have an AT? or what!?? Is it a 4door also?? i get paranoid abotu that, so i usually roll my windows down a little...

 

never had it happen....but I've got the wallet key (not sure of the official name) and my wallet is always in my pocket, so I'm not really worried about it.

 

three words: "hide a key" lol

 

Yeah I have an AT. I guess a hide a key is a good ideal!
