I just got my g35 coupe two weeks ago and I totally love it. However I had parked it next to a Lexus SC430 in a parking lot and was struck by the similarity between the two front ends.

So in the spirit of Autoweek Magazine's recurring "body double" humor on their back page, here is one of mine. I posted a typical Autoweek one I got a kick out of - the new Chrysler 300C which I test drove and liked, and the Green Hornet's Black Beauty which I have actually never driven ;-).

there are a lot of body doubles out there. I guess people are runing out of ideas. Look at all american cars... they all have parts the resamble one another... not completly.. but some look like they just slapped from one car to another.

I am out of town right now and am driving an '03 Benz C230 Kompy and I saw what I thought was a G35 coupe in a parking lot. I chased it to wave down the driver and tell him about our forums because that would be the only other G35 I have seen in this city. Anyway, upon getting closer I realized that is was an SC..

 

While I agree there is a strong similarity in many ways between the G35C and the LexuS SC, I find the G to be gorgeous and the SC to be horribly ungainly.
