Official 2005 order Guide
Dunno if this has been posted here but here it is. I looked it over and the order guide doesn't mention anything about the 19" wheel and tire package all it says is the 18"Performance wheel and tire package like the 2004's what happend? It does mention G35 leather , G35 Sport , so I dunno.

Interesting, I wonder if the Coupe Sport 6MT automatically comes with the 19" rims just like the 03-04 6MT automatically came with 18" (unlike the 5AT in cloth/leather).
Maybe it's not available as an option package just like the Brembo brakes are not available as a seperate option but come standard with Coupe 6MT.

I think that is because it is not an option. The 6MT will have them standard. You should have noticed that the wheel and tire package is only for the base 5AT leather. It isn't available for either sport models

both sport models (auto and manual) come with 19" standard. the 18" is an option only for the non-sport auto.
this is a preliminary order form, the general contents of it (such as willow interior color gone and replaced with beige [no willow and beige are not the same]) was posted about 2 months ago.
the only thing really new in this order form is the spoiler option is not available on the base coupe.

I wonder how much more the 19" wheels will weigh....even with that extra 15 hp for the 6MT, the 19" wheels might make the 0-60 times just about equal to the 04, maybe just 0.2 sec faster.

Actually Willow is not gone. If you looked at the "Willow" interior with different color exteriors, there are actually 2 Willow interiors. With some exterior colors beige/brown trim is used for the doors, dash and steering wheel. For other colors different shades of gray is used for the doors, dash and steering wheel. I didn't know this until I got a service loaner that had the brown/beige willow interior. If you saw the release photo of the new interior, it shows the gray willow interior. The question is will it come out in the brochure as Willow or Gray/Beige?
The next question is what do the new colors look like? I would guess the new beige is probably Pebble Beige from the I30 and Maxima. I'll have to check the paint code on medium blue to see if it is Daytona (hopefully).
As a couple other notes, did anyone else notice that both the 6MT sedans and coupes show to start production 11/4? Both coupes and sedans get power tilt telescopic steering wheels. The sedans also get seat memory, drivers seat entry/exit assist plus intelligent key and rear seat vents on the auto sedan. It looks like Infiniti's plan with the extra features and power on the sedans is to completely each BMW's lunch. Memory and the tilt/telescopic wheel were the only features BMW offered that Infiniti did not give you on the G35.
