+6 No on the flaps. Funny, I just bought the sand paper to prep and prime the grill. What grit did you use?

+whatever number we're on, don't paint the splash guards. i've seen it done and i think it looks out of place.

Dont forget a good IPA wipe down.

For most projects I use 400 grit, 91% IPA from Walgreens, adhesion promoter, BBQ grill paint and if needed a matte UV protective coating.

Hmm, how much did you pay for all the stuff u used to paint it? Is that cheaper than just buying the bluebat overlay?

i dont really know how much their overlays are, but the paint cost me7 dollars, and the sand paper was another 7, the hardest part was covering up everything in the rear even the exhaust so it wouldnt get marked. the grill is very easy to remove, im not really a big fan of overlays, but i will b ordering the tail overlays just to see how they look, and if i like them, ill be painting them ;D

I'm probably going to be doing this tomorrow. What's a good grit sandpaper to buy or this project? I want to do the easy but yet unique mods to set my G35 from the stock ones.
