Painting grill and rear diffuser!!
yeah just like the OP did, I didn't have a spare sheet/cloth so I used garbage bags. I have the large roll of blue painters tape and made to passes with them and then taped the garbage bags to the second row of blue tape. Then I wrapped 1 bag on each exhaust pipe. Sanded, primped and painted away. Hawaii is nice, been here for about 2.5 yrs. There's always something to do. Shipping stuff here sucks though. My wife misses Chicago though. She use to live off of Addison St. as a kid and then moved out of the city to a suburb up north called Wheeling/Buffalo Grove area.
sorry for bringin back this thread. didnt want to repost a new thread.
did you sand with the rear diffuser still attached? is it better to remove the diffuser (if you can) and then sand, and paint?
im trying to do this DIY. i am trying to get info.
thanks
