I agree, don't do it, especially when you are passing cars. What if they just pull infront of you (there are crazy drivers out there)... Don't do it.

Holy **** - what do you call crazy? 155 mph passing cars in the right lane surely qualifies in my book. Those folks probably had a few other choice words for it as well.

I'll confess to backing off my 6mt sedan at 130 for lack of road (short, flat but wide open on both sides, no other cars!) and, while it was plenty stable and still pulling hard, the pucker factor was beginning to come into play. I think I was secretly relieved to run out of road. Damn, these 4dr G's are fast.
