Perfect Example of Butt-o-meter Error
Well i got my supercharger installed by Stillen earlier this week and installed the Injen Exhaust system on it last night at Injen last night by their techs. We drove the car and all felt that the car was much more repsonsive after the exhaust install. Butt-o-meter seemed to show that the car was moving better. Well the Dyno proved otherwise, it lost a little torque in the low end and the top end was pretty much the same. So i'm pulling the exhaust off. If anyone is interested, i've got it listed in the Parts/accessories for sale section. its less than 24 hours old. Make me an offer.
Stillen Stage 2 Supercharger, Stillen Front Bumper, Stillen Carbon Fiber Hood, Injen SES Cat-back Exhaust, Injen Cold Air Intake, 19" Axis Hiro Anthracite, Clear Corners

yeah a loud car gives you the false impression that it's a fast car. just your brain playing tricks on you. measurements are the only true way to tell if there were any improvements. just like when I took off my air box resonator, it sounded mean and I felt like I was going faster then I was, even tho I know that it didn't do squat for performance. The environment can easily decieve your mind.

glad to hear your honesty....
you SHOULD be able to have the car remapped to make the exhaust show positive gains (albeit minimal for the cost/hype surrounding them)..
my fjitsubo catback, with crawford cats and a slight change in boost yeilded a hair over 20 rwhp....... (chalk up 15 or so to the boost!) . when we first ran out on the dyno, it only showed 12 rwhp gain (just bolted on only)... revising the fuel and ignition a bit made the difference!
