Warranty question, Need help.

Hello i purchased my 2005 G35 Coupe withs Sports package brand new in May 2005. The car has 33,000 miles on it and all maintenance has been done to it as required. However I've noticed that when start the car rolling from first gear and into second i hear a click coming from underneath the car. This also happens when going from second to third. The click can only be heard when i accelerate a little hard. I have no clue whats wrong with it, but that click sounds like it could be the suspension, but my suspension feels good. My question is, will I still be covered under infiniti warranty and if I'am covered under warranty would it matter what infiniti dealership i go to since i bought this car in New Jersey and now i live in Arizona.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but i just cant settle for that noise when this car has such low mileage on it.

I know that my clutch peddle clicks when i am releasing it, double check its not your clutch peddle. Otherwise, it could be your rear axle clicking which seems to be a popular issue for our year car. If it is the clutch peddle click, anyone have any idea, or have a similar issue.

yeah, its definitely not my clutch peddle, this is definitely coming form the outside of the car. Will i be covered under warranty on this and if so, can i take it to any infiniti dealer since i bought in New Jersey and live in Arizona.

Thanx for the reply.

If its still under warranty, then YES, it can receive warranty work at ANY Infiniti dealership nationwide.

Your coverage under warranty also has to deal with when the car was manufactured. The warranty is 4yrs or 35k, whichever comes 1st. My basic warranty was up in May but I only have 34k on my car. And it doesnt matter were you purchased, infiniti want deny ur service. I bought my car in Miami but im in Guam now and all of my work gets done here. Also, if its the trans. you could get it replaced under the power tran. 75k warranty.

thanx for all the replies. one last question. I understand that the car has to be under warranty. I do understand now, that my cars basic warranty ended in May 2009 since its 48,000 miles or 4 years wichever comes first. My car has 33,000 miles, but 4 years have passed. However, is there any other warranty on the car that with cover that sound coming from the car. (I assume its the axle as someoen stated.) Sorry but do not understand all this warranty bussiness.

BTW will that 7 year warranty cover my problem?

You should still have a powertrain warranty that will cover the engine, transmission and drivetrain which I believe covers the Axle stuff.
