OK, I know this is a dumb question and I could not find anything by searching, but are dealers discounting the 6MT coupe at all(SoCal)? I have heard that whatever the sticker is, that is what your paying and sometimes more.
I drove a friends 04 coupe 6mt last night and its like a drug and I am addicted. I was looking at the C230 Sedan but its way too slow. I would appreciate any info, thanks!!!!!

 

i am not sure about so cal, but i got mine 750 over dealer invoice. i used the infiniti site to ask them for a quote on the car i wanted. they asked me what i would pay. i gave them a number that was 750 over dealer invoice and they said ok. this was in atlanta, but you may want to try the same.
the MSRP for my car was around 36,500 with the options and i got mine for around 34,300. you can go to www.edmunds.com to see what the dealer invoice is, choose your options, then see if they will go for 500-750 over dealer invoice. not sure if it will work, but its worth a try! good luck.

 

I did an exhaustive price research on the coupe 6mt before buying mine in socal. every dealer i talked to would not budge on the msrp. suffice to say, i ended up paying sticker for mine (prem w/ navi).

 

I've heard that SoCal dealers aren't willing to deal (neither are dealers in Washington state). You may have to consider buying from out of state (that's what I did).

 

If you are in So Cal, goto Infiniti of Santa Monica. My experience with them has been a horrible one, but I did get 2k under sticker back in august when the car was at its hottest. I also used www.autodiscover.com to get the best deal, but last time i posted about them everyone said I woked for them, so check it out at your own discretion... but it worked for me.

I doubt you'll get anything under MSRP, esp for a 6MT. Try Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, Santa Barbara...they seemed willing to negotiate. I can't tell you the price i got, but Santa Monica gave a me a great deal.

Yeah, thats what I thought. So, why can't you tell us what you got your car for? I assume you got a good deal. Were you an employee or knew someone? Well, thanks for everyones replies and I hope to get one of these things soon!!!

 

No, I didn't do anything special or know anybody. I was just lucky at the time, the dealer wanted to move cars. My suggestion is buy on one of the last few days of the month. Get dealer quotes from at least 6 or 7. For me, on the day i bought, i had 6 offers on the table, 3 were under MSRP a bit, and all of them wanted my business. So i took those 3 offers and let the dealers battle for me, in the end i got a great price.

 

When I bought mine I looked all over. NO one whould hook it up!

 

So, I contacted Infiniti of Riverside, Ca. and they emailed a list of cars thay had on the lot and cars they were getting by the end of the month and cars they would get in over the next 2-3 months. They must be getting in about 80 G35 Coupes over the next couple months. Pretty much every combo and they guy said they offer 3.99% for 60 months. I think I will have to visit them this weekend. I am shooting for about $800-1000 (long shot) off MSRP. Wish me luck.

That sounds like you got a great deal!! Did you get a 6MT? How long ago and where did you buy? The lowest quote I got so far was 600 off MSRP. Although I did get a quote for 1450 off MSRP from Grubbs in Texas but Im in Southern California. Thanks for your reply.

I just got another quote for $1000 off of sticker. Now I am shooting for $1200-1500 off of sticker. This is for a DG/Graphite 6MT Prem, Slash and mat MSRP 35,810. Let the games begin!!
