Hello Everyone.

I just finished my car and put in a used twin turbo kit. which i bought from the forums. I got on the dyno and i got no boost. I was pissed. so i took check everything and i noticed that the wastegates were broken the valve in the tial wastegates. Both of them were broken so i have to buy some new ones So i put the new wastegates and i went back on the dyno and still no boost. I found out that the person i bought the turbo kit from sold me a broken turbos to.

 

thats the risk you take. I'm sure you've heard of "sold as is"

 

They told me it is working perfect order. turbos were suppose to be good. karma is a bitch

He said that i blew them but how can i blow When i can't even drive the car. It took me 8 week to put in my car. I didn't bother checking the trubos because he told me they are working order. I should never trust ppl. Even if i had my car work i can't even drive it hard because i have a fully built fresh motor. I just put it on the dyno to make it driveable and i can't even see boost. So now i have to pull motor to take out trubos S Hitty deal

Wait, have you had the turbo's tested yet? You should take it to a turbo shop to have it tested to be sure before making any assumptions. It could be something other than the turbo itself that went bad.

 

I know it is the trubos for sure because i did one last test on the dyno. I blocked the holes for the wastegate still no boost. The wastgate spring are set to 10psi. with load no blow off valves sound. Haltech computer was reading 0 vaccum. My mech is going to take part the trubo to look at them. He is pretty sure that is the trubos are gone.

Damn that sucks man, what makes it worse is your from toronto. Hopefully you can get this resolved.
