seat system

i have a 07 G35c at...bought it brand new and last week...the buttons on the seat that u use to go back and forth and the memory buttons stop workin...i went to infiniti and they replaced the box that is under the seat with no questions asked....i noticed that the new modual was different from my old one..before..when i arranged the seat to my position...and when i get off...the seat would be in the same position and so would the stearing wheel...but now...when i open the door...the seat will go back and lowered and also the stearing wheel will go up...is this normal or is it just that my old seat modual wasnt workin properly before...anyone has the same feature?? i found this feauture nice since i dunt have to put my seat back when i get out...loll

yea, i was at the car show a while back and i noticed the Ms and Maximas do it but not the Gs, i looked under the seat and its a box with the same harness (well it looked to be the same harness) but if the op has the feature now then i dont see why it should be just plug and play

now trying to get that module is the tricky part cus im willing to bet anything that infinit will charge around $500 for it, im going to it up kptechonlgy or what ever there name is to see if they can make one or carry one thats alot cheaper as im sure the 6mt guys would defently like that as a mod, i know i would

^^^ are you saying that when you turn off the car and or open the door the seat moves back and the steering wheel goes up? if so then its just a setting that hasnt been programed for the ones that dont have it

Yes, that is what I am saying. Did you guys program the seat memories 1 or 2 and make sure the rocker is not set to cancel and it should work. This should all be in the manual.

i think they just replaced mine with a M modual they had in stock instead of ordering it...cuz they replaced the old modual with a new one and the new one fried..and then i went back the next day and they just replaced it right away...so im guessing they had a M series modual and just put into mine...my frnd has a 04 g35c and he doesnt have this feauture...so im guessing im just lucky they gave me this new modual into mine(A) loll

My '07 doesn't have an exit feature. Unless it is something you have to enable...

Here is the page from my manual. Since I have a 6MT, I won't have this feature. Guys with automatics should try it out and let us know if it works.
